«Though this be madness, yet there is method in 't» is the line from Shakespeare’s Hamlet that coined the well known saying «There is method to the madness». Hamlet, the prince of Denmark feigns insanity to revenge the murder of his father and although he may seem insane, there is certainly a reason behind his madness.
Method to the Madness is the result of an adventures journey of two chefs who dreamt about opening their own little café. «I sincerely hope that there is method to your madness!» is a sentence they often heard along the way. Their vision of creating a space where people can come together to share a meal was indeed well thought out. After all, food has the undeniable allure to bring together people and it is used, not without reason, to mark and celebrate special occasions in all cultures and societies.
The café with its warm and modern style presents a delightful escape from the madness of today’s life. The Shakespearean theme, which is reflected throughout the venue, creates an amiable and welcoming atmosphere. You can bury yourself in one of Shakespeare’s plays, a collection of which can be found on a rustic bookshelf, whilst indulging in homemade pastries and a freshly brewed coffee.
The menu celebrates healthy and honest food, featuring an old classic with a modern twist: Black Sesame Benedict. This must-try dish, which is inspired by a traditional North-east Indian tribal pork stew will leave you longing for more.
Method to the Madness has your need for caffeine fully covered with trained baristas serving speciality coffee of the highest standard. The antique looking cold drip tower adds to the café’s ambience and, more importantly, supplies you with a delicious alternative to traditionally brewed coffee.
